The current Pinto Valley plan of operation, based on BHP Billiton's reported mine plan, projects a five-year operation, which is fully permitted with mining presently underway. Capstone has completed a NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource estimate for the global identified resource. Capstone believes that mineralization not included in BHP Billiton's reported five year mine plan has the potential to extend the operation beyond BHP Billiton's five year mine plan. A Preliminary Feasibility Study ("PFS") is underway that will target Capstone's M&I Mineral Resources for potential conversion to mineral reserves. The PFS will consider the potential to extend operations within the currently permitted boundaries. In addition, Capstone intends to immediately commission the necessary engineering and economic studies to consider all remaining current mineral resources in preparation for filing the permit applications. While mining is presently underway and BHP Billiton has published reserves under the Joint Ore Reserves Committee Code, a qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the BHP Billiton's reserve estimate as current mineral reserves under National Instrument 43-101, and Capstone is treating the information as historical.
